How It Works

Goalie / Game Details
If you are in need of a goalie, you can request one using our Request-a-Goalie form. Add all the right information, like the basic logistics (level, time, location), and the strength of goalie you need.

Get Your Goalie
You will get notified when you have a goalie for your game. It will provide the goalie with all your game details and how to get there. Contact information is exchanged for any extra questions from the goalie, and make sure to add notes or instructions the goalie will need to know.

Play Your Game / Rate Your Goalie
Play your game knowing we’ve got you covered in between the pipes. Is the goaltender we provided an absolute stud back there, then feel free to let us know with a review! And of course, please provide the goalie with the correct cash amount he is owed for the game and an extra tip if he really stood on his head for you!

How can I get a goalie last minute?
The earlier you submit a request for a goalie, the better your chances of receiving interest. We can’t guarantee a goalie will take your game if you request within two hours of the game. So when the time comes to book your goalie, we recommend you do so as soon as possible.
I submitted my request but put the date wrong, how can I change it?
Reach out to us by email as soon as possible if you make any mistakes, or have any changes to your ice time.
What’s your cancellation policy?
If a goaltender has been confirmed to your game and you wish to cancel, you will not be refunded the GG fee. If you cancel within 2-12 hours of the ice time, we provide you a credit for your next booking. If you cancel 2 hour or less before the the ice time, no refund is provided. How do the fees and payments work?
When you book a goalie, we charge a service fee of $10-$20 online, and the rest is cash given to the goalie at the game. Further information can be found on the services page. As a premium user of our service, you can check out our subscriptions page as well.
We have a weekend tournament in a different town, can we get a goalie?
No problem! All we require is you fill out a specific form for tournaments here. We note that Goalie Guru must operate where your tournament is played.
My goalie didn’t show up for my game, what now?
Rarely, to never, do we have a goalie confirm to play a game and not show up. If it does happen, we offer a refund of our website fee, in addition to a credit for your next booking on us!
